This message is shown while updating BriNotes, being a user without administrator priviledges, or when a previous version is still running in your computer.
As a security measure, users without administrator priviledges are not allowed to install BriNotes.
Close your Windows session and enter as Administrator or a user from the local administrators group. Ask your system administrator for assistance.
Vista users may try running the installer again with administrator priviledges when asked by Windows. Note: Vista support is currently under beta developement.
To complete update or reinstallation, just click with your right mouse button the bulb icon, or the program's icon, both available at the Windows notification area (that is, next to the clock). At the menu that will appear, select Exit option.
If you cannot find any of those icons, click here and try again.
You can terminate the BRITRAY.EXE process by using the task manager. To do so, press simultaneously Control+Alt+Del, and select BRITRAY.EXE at the Processes tab. Finally, click Terminate process button.
Once BriTray process has been stopped, the update or reinstallation will be completed successfully.
